Hip Replacement Surgery To Replace The Defective Hip Joint
Human hip joint is the point exactly where the upper end of the femur meets the acetabulum, or the concave end of the pelvis. The primary aim of the hip joint is to support body weight, whether it is in the immobile mode or dynamic or moving mode. This hip joint is prone to harm due to constant wear and tear, injuries due to unnatural movements of the body, diseases to the area etc. Since the hip joint is the one that supports body weight, any defect in the area results in pain while moving or even in static mode and as the depth of the problem increases, it can even result in seriously hampering body movement. In such conditions, physicians may suggest hip replacement surgery as the last recourse.
